We’re building out AI-driven orchestration at Marteu, an early marketplace for factory-direct building materials.
The concept:

Predictive models: for price (per manufacturer/product category), sea freight & drayage, and packing optimization.

Communication agents: that coordinate operational tasks with factories, QC teams, and freight forwarders via WhatsApp/email.

Event-driven backend: where order status changes trigger predictions and agent workflows, with results written back into our system.
We’re looking for someone to join our team full-time (or part-time/project basis) to help us architect and implement this. The ideal person has experience with:

Serving ML models in production (FastAPI/Flask, MLflow, feature stores)

Event-driven/backend systems (queues, idempotency, schema validation)

Workflow automation (Temporal, Airflow, or N8N/Zapier)

Messaging integrations (WhatsApp Business API, email APIs)
This is an opportunity to own the AI backbone of a live marketplace—from prototyping predictive models to deploying robust agent workflows.
